You could say that Cody Murphy believes in
maintaining balance.  He balances being an
experienced, licensed air conditioning contractor
with being a loving family man.  He enjoys hanging out
in the woods with his family and friends,
woodworking, cooking, and playing video games with
his son.

Cody’s business is based out of Bastrop, Texas, home
of the famous Lost Pines forest.  When h
e moved here
with his family in 2007
, Cody knew that Bastrop was
the place to stay.  His mom had taught him to see

“Cody Murphy is one of those rare
individuals whom you can rely on to
be honest and thorough. I would
recommend him for any HVAC needs
you may have! I’ve known Cody and
his wife for almost 10 years and he
has demonstrated incredible
integrity in everything he does.   My
husband and I were experiencing
extreme temperature differentials in
certain areas of our 2nd floor.  Cody
came out to take a look and made
recommendations which worked! We
appreciated his honesty and his
thoroughness when evaluating our
situation.  It’s nice to know that
there are still honest, dependable
service providers out there. “

the real value of a place’s history, its natural beauty and its community.  In
Bastrop, Cody found the friendliest community that he has ever been a part
of, the natural beauty of the Bastrop State Park, and the most historic small
town in Texas!

Cody’s father, a Navy veteran and tractor mechanic, instilled a strong work
ethic in Cody.  Cody credits his dad for teaching him from an early age the
skills that led him to develop handyman and home improvement abilities.  Cody
improved on these skills throughout his life, including the years when he
worked as a professional carpenter.  Says Cody, “If I’m going to take the time
to do something, then I’m going to do it right.  Craftsmanship means measuring
twice and cutting once.”

Cody graduated Summa Cum Laude from NIT.  There he focused his studies on
Residential HVAC, mechanical theory and practical application.  Then Cody
worked at servicing and installing new units.  He later became a project
engineer of A/C Test and Balance (TAB) providing him with a technically
specialized knowledge of energy efficiency and a true understanding of how to
achieve real comfort in your home.
